Shipping

We currently ship within the United States only.

Most pieces are made to order. Estimated lead times are listed on each product page.

General guidelines:

• Ready-to-ship items: 2–4 business days
• Custom painted pieces: 7–10 business days
• Custom engraved pieces: 2–3 weeks
• Larger custom furniture: see individual product listings

If your order is time-sensitive, please contact us before purchasing and we will do our best to accommodate.

Orders ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on size and destination. Tracking information is emailed once your order ships.

Local pickup is available at checkout for customers near Penn Yan.

Returns

We want you to feel good about what you bring home from us.

Items can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery or pickup as long as they’re unused and in the same condition you received them.

For holiday shopping, anything purchased November 1 through December 24 may be returned until January 24.

A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

We accept returns for both defective and non-defective items unless a product listing states otherwise.

Custom & Engraved Items

Custom engraved items are final sale.

Proofs are provided when applicable. Once a proof has been approved, changes cannot be made, so please review all details carefully before final approval.

If an error occurs on our end, we will replace the item at no cost to you.

Returns can be handled in store or by mail — whichever is easier.


Refunds

Once we receive and look over the returned item, we’ll email you to let you know it arrived and confirm the refund.

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 days.

Original shipping charges aren’t refundable unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
We do not charge restocking fees.


Exchanges

Need a different piece instead? We’re happy to help when we can.
Email dan@stavingartist.com and we’ll walk you through the simplest option.


Gift Purchases

If you received an item as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

If you’d prefer store credit instead, have the purchaser contact us and we’re happy to help arrange it.


How to Return

You can either bring the item to the shop or mail it back:

For mailed returns, customers cover return shipping. We’ll provide a printable return label after approval.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

For items over $75, we recommend using a trackable service or insurance, since we can’t guarantee receipt of packages in transit.


Waiting on a Refund?

Banks sometimes take a few days to post refunds after we issue them.
